Little Naches, wilderness elk archery.
« on: June 18, 2011, 12:59:19 PM »
Looks like a steady but longer climb from the North, steeper but shorter hike from the South.  Anyone backpack in during elk season.  I think if I came in from SR410 I'd camp as soon as I crested the pass and I'd be at the top of the mountain, but if I came in from the north, I'd camp halfway up and have 360 degrees of hunt choices.  It would also be nice not to run into too many hunters.  I suspect I'll run into elk everywhere.  Any input would be appreciated about the hike in...and the pack out.
